FREE Antenatal Education & Parent Support Classes @ Ewell Family Centre - Preparing for Parenthood Together
Are you expecting a baby and would benefit from a little extra support? Join our FREE Health Visitor -led Antenatal Education Program designed to help you feel informed, confident and connected before your baby arrives.
7:00 - 9:00pm, 7th September, 14th September, 21st September & 28th September.
We warmly welcome parents-to-be who may be experiencing:
✅ First-time parenthood, Young parenthood
✅ Low-level mental health concerns, Social isolation or loneliness
✅ Lack of confidence about becoming a parent, Limited family or social support
✅ Being new to the country
✅ Recent life changes
✅ Previous trauma or difficult experiences
The sessions will cover - Bonding with your baby,understanding attachment and building your relationship from pregnancy onwards, labour & birth, what to expect and practical ways to prepare, infant feeding, information and support around feeding your baby, sfe sleep, keeping your baby safe and reducing risks, what to expect after birth and where to find support as a new parent and so much more.

- Share experiences in a supportive environment
- Build confidence for parenthood
- Create a social network for ongoing support and advice
These sessions are not only about preparing for your baby's arrival—they are also a great opportunity to start building your support network before becoming a parent. Throughout the program, you will be introduced to your local Barnardo's Gamily Centre, helping you become familiar with the services and friendly teams available in your community.
